The BIEMH, organized by the European Association of Manufacturing Technologies (CECIMO), is the largest machine tool and metalworking exhibition in Spain and the second largest in Europe. As the fourth-largest economy and a major industrial power in the EU, Spain—particularly the Basque Country, where Bilbao is located—hosts around 80% of the country’s machine tool manufacturers. With a strong industrial cluster and significant development potential, the region has become an attractive destination for overseas investment.
